BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) – Bradford County Sheriff’s workplace is warning folks a couple of telephone rip-off. Deputies say they’ve gotten 2 complaints concerning the aged being scammed to withdraw cash for folks posing as a lawyer or bails bondsman saying their grandchild was concerned in a crash or arrested.
One girl was tricked into giving the scammer greater than $5,000.
They are saying the scammers ask folks to wire switch cash.
Deputies advise anybody who will get the decision, to inform regulation enforcement.
