BERLIN (AP) — The European Union says vaccine maker AstraZeneca has agreed to produce 9 million extra doses to the 27-nation bloc throughout the first quarter.
The brand new goal of 40 million doses by the top of March continues to be solely half what the corporate had initially aimed for, triggering a spat between AstraZeneca and the EU final week.
European Fee President Ursula von der Leyen stated late Sunday that the British-Swedish pharmaceutical maker may even start deliveries one week before scheduled and increase its manufacturing capability in Europe.
